Kansas City Chiefs Stadium Goes Fully Reusable | First NFL Venue to Eliminate Single-Use Cups

Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs, is now the first NFL stadium to adopt a full-scale reusable cup system across all fan zones, clubs, and suites.

This game-changing initiative launches on September 14, 2025, and replaces over 42,000 single-use cups with a closed-loop reuse system – designed, collected, sanitised, and reintroduced for future events.

It’s a powerful example of how packaging innovation and circular economy thinking can come to life in closed-loop environments like stadiums and live events. This project is a collaboration between: Bold Reuse (Portland-based reuse logistics firm),  Kansas City Chiefs,  Levy, Aramark Sports + Entertainment and Mid-America Regional Council (supporting grant funding)

More stadiums and events are now exploring reuse -and it just makes sense.
