Katie is a respected packaging development expert, who excels from concept to launch, identifying markets, and providing practical solutions while effectively engaging stakeholders. Her skills blend hands-on design, development, and manufacturing with strong leadership and a proven ability to deliver transformation projects globally. Specialising in sustainable packaging, design, new product development, project management, branding, creativity, marketing, supplier recruitment, value optimisation, supply chain enhancement, and packaging research, she has a comprehensive skill set geared towards innovative and efficient packaging solutions.

Katie is also one of ThePackHub’s expert Packaging Academy Trainers.

Wayne Barron

Refill & Reuse Packaging Specialist

ThePackHub’s resident Refill & Reuse Packaging Specialist, Wayne provides expertise in reuse research and development projects for global brands, organisations and suppliers. An advocate for circular design, supporting development of standardised reuse systems to reduce packaging waste and environmental impact from single-use packaging. Wayne has written, produced and contributed to industry recognised reuse reports, and is a regular contributor at dedicated reuse events and workshops.

Wayne is also one of ThePackHub’s expert Packaging Academy Trainers.

Robyn Copley-Wilkins

Packaging Technologist

Robyn, a specialist in sustainable packaging, advises businesses on modifying packaging to aid development and sustainability. With 12 years in the industry, Robyn has assisted national and international brands, covering the retail, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and automotive sectors. She has developed solutions across all packaging levels and excels in troubleshooting, leading workshops, and presenting. A people person at heart, Robyn thrives on solving problems collaboratively.

Robyn is also one of ThePackHub’s expert Packaging Academy trainers.

Ella Fairlie

Senior International Account Manager at Valpak

With an academic background in environmental policy, sustainable development, and two years’ experience in the role as a Senior International Account Manager at Valpak, Ella has developed expertise in regulatory compliance. Specialising in Extended Producer Responsibility has led to conducting extensive research into the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). This played a key role in the development of Valpak’s PPWR Core Service to support customers in meeting their obligations and deliver a high-quality customer service.

Madelyn Mullen

International Accounts Manager - Valpak

Following a master’s in public policy, Madelyn joined Valpak’s Global Compliance team as an International Account Manager assisting businesses with their compliance obligations. For the past six months, She has narrowed her focus onto the EU’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, helping companies prepare and continue to grow under this expansive and novel policy.

Shira Rosen

Packaging Consultant, Packtech

With a distinguished career spanning Unilever and Strauss Group and over two decades of consulting experience, Shira is a leader in packaging innovation and sustainability. She brings her expertise as a CPP-Certified Professional, Chairwoman of the Israeli Packaging Institute, and World Packaging Organisation trainer to each session, delivering insights that are both practical and inspiring.

Harry Russell

Research Lead - Senior International Account Manager - Valpak

Harry has worked in the Global Compliance team for 2 years. Initially, as an Account Manager helping companies understand and comply with Extended Producer Responsibility obligations across the world. For the last year, He has been the team’s research lead and has specialised in sustainability compliance with a particular focus on the Packaging and Packaging waste regulation and the future of Extended Producer Responsibility.
