Katie is a respected packaging development expert, who excels from concept to launch, identifying markets, and providing practical solutions while effectively engaging stakeholders. Her skills blend hands-on design, development, and manufacturing with strong leadership and a proven ability to deliver transformation projects globally. Specialising in sustainable packaging, design, new product development, project management, branding, creativity, marketing, supplier recruitment, value optimisation, supply chain enhancement, and packaging research, she has a comprehensive skill set geared towards innovative and efficient packaging solutions.
Katie is also one of ThePackHub’s expert Packaging Academy Trainers.
Poppy plays a central role in how ThePackHub operates, communicates and delivers. Working closely with senior leadership and the Innovation Services team, she helps turn ideas into structured action, supporting marketing activity, internal coordination and project delivery across the business.
With a First-Class degree in Psychology from the University of Sussex, Poppy brings strong analytical capability and a natural understanding of behaviour, communication and insight. Her experience at AB World Foods and Jakks Pacific has given her exposure to cross-functional collaboration, packaging development projects and commercial reporting, equipping her with a practical understanding of how brand, sales and supply chain teams work together to bring initiatives to life.
At ThePackHub, Poppy contributes to digital marketing, performance tracking, SEO insight and data analysis, while also supporting proposals, presentations and consultancy projects. Organised, thoughtful and detail-oriented, she helps ensure that the business runs smoothly behind the scenes, enabling senior colleagues to focus on high-value client work.
Poppy’s combination of marketing experience, analytical rigour and creative perspective allows her to strengthen both the operational backbone and the outward-facing communication of ThePackHub as it continues to grow.
Chris is a packaging specialist with over 18 years of experience focused on sustainability, reuse and recycling. He has led the design and implementation of circular packaging systems across retail and major FMCG brands. Alongside his technical expertise, Chris brings senior leadership and general management experience from successfully building and running startups and SMEs. This gives him a strong commercial, operational and people-focused perspective, enabling him to deliver packaging solutions that align with wider business and supply chain objectives.
ThePackHub’s resident Refill & Reuse Packaging Specialist, Wayne provides expertise in reuse research and development projects for global brands, organisations and suppliers. An advocate for circular design, supporting development of standardised reuse systems to reduce packaging waste and environmental impact from single-use packaging. Wayne has written, produced and contributed to industry recognised reuse reports, and is a regular contributor at dedicated reuse events and workshops.
Wayne is also one of ThePackHub’s expert Packaging Academy Trainers.
Robyn, a specialist in sustainable packaging, advises businesses on modifying packaging to aid development and sustainability. With 12 years in the industry, Robyn has assisted national and international brands, covering the retail, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and automotive sectors. She has developed solutions across all packaging levels and excels in troubleshooting, leading workshops, and presenting. A people person at heart, Robyn thrives on solving problems collaboratively.
Robyn is also one of ThePackHub’s expert Packaging Academy trainers.
Dan has amassed extensive experience in packaging, aiding global brands and factories from concept to launch. His expertise encompasses production challenges, logistics, contract manufacturing, machinery, and technical aspects. Dan has a profound understanding of materials, their interactions, processes, and regulatory compliance. With a passion for the science of packaging and sustainability, he integrates eco-conscious principles into all his projects, aiming to set realistic targets and share knowledge, innovations, and technology as a self-proclaimed packaging nerd.
Steve has extensive experience as a packaging development manager across various sectors, including retail, pet food, and Asian-inspired groceries. Central to his projects is sustainability, encompassing packaging, food waste, and commercial aspects. Leveraging his many years of experience, Steve always delivers the best possible packaging outcomes within project constraints. He acknowledges that solutions might not be perfect initially, emphasizing the constant journey toward improvement, which may require process changes, new packing lines, or in-store processes.
Ton has a wealth of experience and was literally born into the packaging industry. He has aided international packaging firms in business development across sectors like injection moulded plastics, paper cans, folding cartons, and digital technologies. With a rich history in senior roles, notably at Weidenhammer Packaging Group managing Pringles cans, Ton contributes significantly to the industry. He’s also the Executive Director on the European Co-Packers Association (ECPA) board, a senior juror for the NL Packaging Awards, and an active member of the Dutch Packaging Professionals Association (VNV).
Sarah Leveridge is a highly experienced packaging professional with over 35 years’ expertise spanning the supplier, retail, and foodservice sectors across Europe, APAC, and North America. A long-standing collaborator with ThePackHub, Sarah has supported the business for more than a decade in both consultancy and client-side roles, consistently championing innovation in the packaging industry.
She has led major initiatives to bring new products to market, drive material efficiencies, and deliver step-change improvements through a 360° approach to packaging – treating it as an integrated system, aligned with the product throughout its entire lifecycle. A strong advocate for responsible design and consumer-centric solutions, Sarah combines deep technical knowledge with clear, strategic communication to develop packaging strategies that deliver against business objectives and respond to fast-evolving market needs.
Sarah is also passionate about capability building, having mentored and trained cross-functional teams both internally and externally. Her qualifications include a full Diploma from the Institute of Packaging and certification from Saïd Business School’s Leading Sustainable Corporations programme, further strengthening her ability to lead in an increasingly sustainability-focused landscape.
Yaniv, a senior executive with 20+ years in FMCG, specializes in R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain, focusing on packaging development and business optimization. He’s known for driving innovation, growth, and efficiency, leading impactful projects toward sustainable packaging. Yaniv has overseen major R&D programs and the setup of global manufacturing facilities, achieving significant cost savings and quality improvements. He holds a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering, an M.Sc in Bio-Medical Engineering, and certifications in Business Sustainability, Strategic Thinking, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Vanessa has over 25 years of experience in packaging, having collaborated with global brands in the frozen and chilled sectors across the UK and Europe. She is dedicated to developing sustainable packaging innovations and designs with these principles in mind. More recently, she has worked with the beverage, e-commerce, and food-to-go sectors. Her career highlights include winning a StarPack award for a sustainable chilled salmon pack, developing a patented microwave fish and chip carton, achieving an 85% plastic reduction for a UK beverage brand, and creating sustainable packaging for a cutting-edge technology grocery store in London. She has led many packaging consolidation projects to improve and optimise packaging. Vanessa is keen to share her knowledge and has trained packaging teams, providing mentorship and coaching.
Nicci is a highly accomplished packaging and sustainability expert with a proven track record across global FMCG brands, private enterprises, and consultancy. With deep experience from concept through to launch, Nicci has led high-impact strategies, built and managed large cross-functional teams, and consistently delivered packaging innovation with commercial value. Her expertise spans sustainable packaging development, design thinking, regulatory compliance, value engineering, team coaching, supplier auditing, and EPR readiness. Adept at aligning technical development with consumer insight and brand goals, she has worked with organisations including Kellogg’s, Unilever, Molton Brown, and L’Oréal. Passionate about making packaging a strategic growth driver, Nicci brings a unique combination of leadership, technical rigour, and a relentless focus on sustainable innovation.
