The Challenge
A leading skincare brand was entering a period of rapid growth, doubling its manufacturing capacity, expanding globally and pursuing ambitious sustainability targets across its packaging portfolio.
To support a significant increase in new product development activity, the client required an experienced packaging technologist who could quickly become part of the team while permanent recruitment was underway. The role demanded strong technical knowledge, the ability to work autonomously and experience within highly regulated beauty and pharmaceutical packaging environments.
Our Approach
ThePackHub identified and engaged an experienced packaging technologist with the specialist expertise required to support the client’s packaging programme.
Working on-site two days per week as part of a four-day working arrangement, the consultant became an integrated member of the client’s packaging team, supporting project briefs throughout a 12-week development programme.
The successful candidate brought extensive experience across pharmaceutical and cosmetics packaging, alongside practical knowledge of lightweighting, recycled content (PCR), refill systems, carbon reduction programmes and emerging regulatory requirements such as the PPWR.
